3 One-Pot Recipes Perfect for This Super-on-Sale All-Clad Pan
One of our favorite sales is back: the All-Clad VIP Factory Seconds Sale. The sale, which happens a few times a year, features factory seconds — pots and pans with minor cosmetic scratches — at major discounts. Those little dings and scratches? Don’t even worry about them; they do not affect the performance of the pan (and, in many cases, won’t even be visible after regular use of your new pan).
The sale runs through Sunday, December 9 and just requires agreeing to their terms and conditions and entering an email address to access.
If you’ve been thinking about investing in a new skillet or quart pan, now is a good time. Many kitchen staples are included in the sale. (If you want something a little more special, though, pick up a 0.5-quart butter warmer.)
One of the most classic items in the sale is All-Clad’s 3-quart sauté pan, which also happens to be one of our favorite pans. Shallow enough to sauté and fry, it’s also deep enough for simmering and cooking stews. In other words, its a one-pot kitchen hero.
Here are three recipes that would be perfect for this sauté pan.
- Sausage and Tomato Risotto: We’re big believers in making risotto in a high-sided skillet (versus a pot) and this is actually one of the pans we use time and time again when making risotto in our studio kitchen.
- Broccolini, Chicken Sausage, and Orzo Skillet: Orzo cooks up quickly and is basically an easier version of risotto for weeknights. Cooking it directly in the skillet or pan where you’ve sautéed your vegetables and sausage makes serving and cleanup easier.
- Green Shakshuka: And don’t think we forgot about brunch. Another great thing about this skillet is that it can go from stovetop to oven. (The helper handle even makes that task a bit more stable and safe.) Use it to make a brunch classic: shakshuka. This green version uses leeks and Swiss chard instead of tomato sauce.
