Our Favorite All-Clad Sale Was Just Extended Through Friday
A few times a year, All-Clad offers truly deep discounts on their high-end cookware through Home & Cook Sales. The products all come directly from All-Clad, but are all factory seconds, meaning there are minor cosmetic dents and scratches that won’t affect their performance. (Skeptical? I will say this: Every much-loved piece of All-Clad cookware I personally own is from this sale, and I actually haven’t been able to even tell where the scratches are.)
The sale typically runs a few days or up to a week, with flash sales happening throughout. The most recent sale started Monday, January 21, and was initially supposed to go for just 24 hours. However, it was extended through Friday, January 25, meaning you now have just under two days to take advantage of these prices.
All-Clad offers a variety of collections, from the classic tri-clad pieces to even fancier copper-core and five-ply pieces. All collections perform excellently, and in general you will be more than happy getting the most bang for your buck and grabbing the least expensive option, the brushed steel collection. (While it usually costs the least, we do have to emphasize, with All-Clad, you’re still not getting a “budget” option and they’re still of exceedingly high quality.)
You can see the full sale here after entering your email address, and see some of our favorite picks below.
A weeknight, one-pot hero, you can sauté, simmer, and bake with this. The tall, straight sides mean it can handle everything from braised meats to skillet pastas to stews. While you won’t be reaching for it to do a quick pan-fry of veggies, if you’re making a warming, hearty meal for the whole family (or meal prepping for the week), this will be perfect. If you really like cooking for a crowd (or in big batches), the 5-quart size, loved by our Editor-in-Chief, Faith Durand, is also on sale.
The encore series is made from refurbished, returned pans, meaning this is sustainable and a good deal; it makes this 10-inch fry pan even more affordable. If you want to start out your All-Clad collection with something you can use every day, this is a good size to start. You can scramble up a quick breakfast for one, or have it handle a veggie size (or side of bacon) for a bigger group.
The 8-inch size, however, is great for the solo cook – and a less expensive way to start a collection. Perfect for heating up dinner for one, a few things I’ve discovered fit perfectly in here are eight-inch tortillas for quick, perfectly seared quesadillas; a fried egg for one; and just about any veggie I could think of, sautéed with some garlic and olive oil, for a simple, healthy side for one.
While All-Clad is less well-known for their nonstick, this is a great deal for any pan set, more or less one of this quality. These make great everyday sizes, too.
