This week at Aldi, there’s a new pantry staple that we think you’re going to want to stock up on as the busy fall season begins. And, according to frequent Aldi shoppers, it’s a good one.

Shoppers can snag three different versions of this shelf-stable potato salad now available on Aldi shelves for just $1.49 a box: American (a traditional potato salad with a touch of mustard), Dill (a classic salad with a hint of dill), and Loaded (with cheddar cheese, sour cream, chives, and bacon). The salads include scalloped potatoes, and all you have to do is add mayo (or plain yogurt) and mix everything together. Yes, that’s really it.

Aldi shoppers are pleasantly surprised by how much they love this simple potato salad. One shopper posted on Reddit saying they plan on buying 10 boxes next time they go grocery shopping at Aldi after trying the Dill flavor, and they’re excited to give the American flavor a try as well.
