Having an Aldi location nearby is a privilege and a gift from the grocery heavens that unfortunately not everyone gets to enjoy. If you’re lucky enough to have the popular discount grocery store in your neighborhood, though, you have likely had the pleasure of shopping the incredible deals and one-of-a-kind products that Aldi has to offer. In anticipation of the summer season, Aldi has been continuously releasing new grocery items and backyard grilling setups to help give you a head-start on your weekend plans, and now the beloved brand is stepping up their game even further with a perfect new summer dessert.

Spotted originally on an Aldi subreddit post, the Sundae Shoppe Vanilla Ice Cream Filled Cupcakes are a four-pack of cupcakes that feature both an ice cream top and center, and are covered in multicolored sprinkles. Weighing in at about 2.1-ounces each, the $4.95 price tag is clearly a small price to pay for such bliss.

In a highly relatable comment, one person exclaimed, “I’ve never been to Aldi and I think I’m going just for these tomorrow.”

When asked about whether or not the cupcakes need to be thawed before eating, the original poster replied, “No thawing. Straight down the gullet. I like that.”

Whether you’re new to Aldi or returning, one thing’s definitely for certain: These ice cream cupcakes might sell out fast, so prepare to stock up or suffer the consequences of your actions. And while you’re at it, take advantage of this special $2 Aldi seasoning that will take up valuable real estate in your pantry all summer long.
