It’s my favorite time of year: the reveal of the Product of the Year Awards winners. For those that are unfamiliar, every year, Product of the Year USA surveys 40,000 American shoppers about their favorite product innovations across 40 categories. It’s like the Oscars for retail and is the perfect time for me to discover which items I need to check out and what things people loved as much as I did. 

While there were plenty of products to rave about on this list, as it turns out, I was not alone in my admiration of one grocery store in particular: Aldi. Why is that you ask? Well, this year, the company won a whopping nine out of 36 awards — up two more than their impressive seven out of 40 wins last year. As a true lover of the affordable finds that Aldi offers, I couldn’t wait to see if any of my favorite products made the list.

Never one to rest on their laurels, Aldi also announced the newest installment of their clothing collection for fans looking to show off their love for the store. After the overwhelmingly positive response to last year’s capsule collection, Aldi is back with a new drop that — from head to toe — will have you looking fresh while paying less. 

Just like last year, the prices for items are incredibly low with each one being priced under $10, giving you a great excuse to stock up on the ones you love. I, for one, can’t wait to get my hands on the dark blue joggers ($9.99) with the matching windbreaker ($9.99). And for only $3.99, I think I’ll finally try wearing bucket hats. Other items like tumblers ($6.99), slides ($4.99), a keychain quarter holder ($1.49), and more will also be available in-stores once the stylish new gear drops on March 22.

With all of this great Aldi news, I know I’ll be one of the first in line with apparel in one hand and their award-winning bread and cheese in the other.
