We’ve reached the point of summer where the only comfortably cool place in my house is directly in front of the open freezer door. And during a few moments of cool relief, I recently realized that my ice box was in need of a major restock. So I headed to Aldi, one of my favorite grocery stores (besides Coscto, of course) to pick up frozen items.

As far as freezer finds go, Aldi’s freezer aisle is stocked with more than just their famous Mama Cozzi pizza and red bag chicken. This summer the store’s freezers are bursting even more than usual with some fun newcomers including seasonal sweet treats, snacks, and food on sticks.

Here are nine of the best new frozen-aisle finds at Aldi that you should keep an eye out for on your next trip.

1. Belmont Sorbet, $1.99 for 14 ounces

Looking for a refreshing way to end the day? Satisfy your sweet tooth with a scoop of sorbet. It’s available in three flavors: black cherry, orange, and lemon. Note: This is an Aldi Find that might not be on shelves forever, so seize the opportunity if you find it.

2. Breakfast Best Pancakes & Sausage On a Stick, $5.05 for 10

There’s a pure, unbridled joy that comes from eating food on a stick. Just ask anyone who loves corn dogs! Of course, it was only a matter of time before pancakes and sausage were served on a stick in the same fashion.

3. Earth Grown Non-Dairy Almond Based Frozen Desserts, $2.99 per pint

Aldi’s freezer section is packed with enough desserts to fill an ice cream truck. These almond-based pints are vegan. Choose from classic chocolate or vanilla, or pick my favorite: mocha fudge.

4. Whole & Simple Chicken Quinoa Bowls, $2.99 for 10.5 ounces

When you’ve exhausted your imagination for appealing work-from-home lunches, Aldi has you covered. These freezer meals are packed with whole grains, tender chicken, and hearty veggies — all for less than $3 per meal.

6. Sundae Shoppe Frozen Lemonade Bars, $2.49 for four

A refreshing glass of lemonade on a hot summer day is pretty hard to beat, unless the competition is a lemonade Popsicle. Choose classic lemonade or a pretty pink strawberry lemonade pop — or, better yet, buy both.

7. Appetitos Puff Pastry Bites, $5.95 for 24 pieces

These two-bite pastries — which come in flavors like artichoke & jalapeño, Mediterranean-inspired, and spinach, cheese, and bacon — will help round out an easy summertime snack platter.

8. Mama Cozzi’s Thin Curst Cauliflower Pepperoni Pizza, $4.99

Okay, no Aldi list is complete without Mama Cozzi! This new pizza variety is made with a crispy thin cauliflower crust that holds up to gooey cheese and meaty pepperoni rounds.

9. Season’s Choice Carrot or Zucchini Veggie Spirals, $2.89 for 12 ounces
