If a vacation in Italy was on your summer bucket list but you weren’t able to make the trip, a visit to Aldi may be the next best thing. Aldi’s latest Italian import brings the very best of Italy’s most delicious desserts right to your freezer.

The Sundae Shoppe Italian Gelato Flight is back on Aldi’s shelves for just a limited time, much to the delight of frequent Aldi shoppers. The customer-favorite frozen dessert includes a trio of classic gelato flavors: limoncello, pistachio, and tiramisu. All are served in individual-size cups. These delicious varieties are straight out of Italy, and they might even be too good to share.

While gelato is similar to ice cream, there are a few key differences that set the Italian specialty apart from your typical grocery store ice cream fare. Gelato is churned at a slower rate than ice cream and contains a lesser amount of milk fat, making it denser and softer. Interestingly, gelato is usually served at a warmer temperature than ice cream, too.

Shoppers are picking up this Italian treat not just once, but two and three times each. One Reddit user even challenged the grocery chain, saying, “they need to make those in bigger tubs.” Not every Aldi location currently has them in stock, but they’ve been spotted in quite a few stores. The three-pack of 4.4-ounce cups retails for $3.99.

This gelato flight isn’t the only one spotted on Aldi’s shelves. Last year, Aldi released a seasonal gelato flight just in time for the holiday season that featured candy cane, eggnog, and pumpkin pie flavors. We’ll be on the lookout for a reemergence of this festive trio, but until then be on the lookout for the classic Italian Gelato Flight in the freezer section of your nearest Aldi.
