If You Spot This $4 (Very!) Limited Edition Snack at Aldi, Grab 3
There’s a lot of great items to pick up at Aldi — and for a true bargain. However, we have been especially impressed with their snack aisle lately. I mean, have you tried Clancy’s Hint of Lime Chips?
The budget grocer has done it again, with a seasonal salty snack just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Spotted by Instagram account @adventuresinaldi, Aldi is now selling Keogh’s Sour Cream and Shamrock Irish Potato Chips. Thick-cut chips with the skin on, the potato chips are made in Ireland with Irish potatoes and use ingredients sourced from Irish suppliers. The taste of tangy sour cream is combined with traditional Irish shamrock (yes, the clover is edible) along with some other flavors like garlic, parsley, and cheese. Aldi is also selling Keogh’s Original Irish Potato Chips with Atlantic Salt if shamrock isn’t really your thing.
What’s more, each bag comes with a QR code that allows you to trace your own individual bag of chips to find out which potato field in Ireland it came from and learn all about the person who cooked them.
Commenters on the Instagram post sang the chip’s praises, some even calling them the best potato chip money can buy. “They are the best potato chips I have ever tasted!” wrote one user. Another commenter said, “I just bought these when I was in Ireland a few months ago. So good!!”
TikToker @aldiallthetime also spotted the chips in their local store and said that they are one of their absolute favorite items at Aldi right now. You can find these in the special buy aisle at your local Aldi from February 28 through March 13 for $3.99 each, so grab a bag (or four) while you can. Otherwise, you may just have to plan a trip to Ireland.
