While each Aldi store has a special aisle marked with limited-stock, seasonal items meant for holiday shopping, there’s also an array of everyday items throughout the store that are perfect for hosting a pint-sized party. Even though Fourth of July celebrations will look a bit different this year, Aldi’s shelves are still stocked with festive fare to celebrate the day on a smaller scale.

Here are the 10 best groceries to pick up at Aldi to observe the Fourth this year.

1. Simply Nature Organic Whole Milk Yogurt, $2.69 for 32 ounces

Yogurt? Yes, yogurt! Allow me to explain: In our house on the Fourth, we like to start off our day with red, white, and blue parfaits. To make them, we layer yogurt with strawberries and blueberries. Later in the day, we use plain yogurt as a marinade for grilled chicken.

2. L’oven Fresh Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, $1.39 for 12

Forget burgers and hot dogs for a second: Why not mix it up with slider sandwiches on sweet rolls instead? Split these pillowy puffs in half and layer them with roast beef, sweet caramelized onions, and cheese. Brush with butter and bake until the cheese melts.

4. Specially Selected Lattice Cut Kettle Chips, $2.29 for 7 ounces

Every barbecue has to have a bowl of potato chips to snack on, and Aldi’s lattice-cut kettle chips are an upgrade to all the other options out there. There’s more to love than just their crunch, too — these come in flavors like Aged Cheddar and Black Pepper, and Roasted Garlic and Sea Salt.
