Aldi Just Leaked Info on Dozens of New Items That Will Hit Stores in September
There’s something about the transition from summer to fall that seems like a big deal. A bigger deal than any other seasonal change, no? Even if you hate winter, you still probably like the “fall feels” that start up around September. Proof: Even the Kitchn editors who love summer the most got excited about these upcoming Aldi Finds.
The discount grocer just sent us info on the September Aldi Finds, and they’re all so perfect for fall! (There’s even lots of cozy throws and tabletop scarecrows!) These are the ones that we’re most excited about and have us actually looking forward to the change of seasons.
1. Simply Nature Raspberry Lemonade Fruit Twists, $2.49
Okay, so this one is maybe a little more summery. It comes out early in the month, though (September 4), so that makes sense. There will also be a second flavor: Strawberry Banana.
2. Deutsche Küche Artichoke & Cheese Strudel, $3.99
Aldi seems to be getting in on Oktoberfest celebrations because there will be LOTS of German treats hitting stores the week of September 18. The lineup includes things like Cheese Spaetzle ($2.99), Apple Strudel ($2.49), Chocolate-Covered Stollen Bites with Marzipan Filling ($3.69), Bratwurst with Cheese ($3.99), and more. We’re most excited about this savory strudel.
3. Millville Peanut Butter & Jelly Puffs, $2.19
Say what you will about off-brand cereal, but we love it — and we know plenty of kids who do, too! Look for this box on shelves starting September 18 and give them a shot on a busy school-day morning.
4. Reggano White Cheddar Broccoli Whole-Wheat Pasta and Sauce, $1.49
How’s this for a grown-up mac and cheese? It’s ready in seven minutes and sure to be a weeknight hero. This bag (plus two others: Tomato, Basil and Garlic and Roasted Garlic and Pesto) will be in stores on September 11.
5. Specially Selected Caramel Macchiato Cupcakes, $3.89
These cupcakes were made for those of you who prefer caramel macchiato over pumpkin spice. There will also be Maple Pecan Cupcakes — both out on September 18.
6. Crofton Cast Iron 12-Inch Skillet, $10
Aldi is coming in hot on the fall-inspired cookware. Whether you’re new to cast iron cooking or you already have a decent collection, this guy is a worthy addition. Find it in stores on September 25.
7. Crofton Cast Iron 4.6-Quart French Oven, $25
You’ll be hard-pressed to find a Dutch oven at a better price than this one. If you can’t justify the cost for a Staub or Le Creuset, consider this bargain find. It hits stores on September 25.
8. Huntington Home Mercury Glass Pumpkin Candle, $5
9. Crofton Cast Iron 4-Quart Casserole Dish, $20
Casserole season is coming! This one comes in red or gray and it will fit right in on any fall-themed or holiday table. Look for them in stores on September 11.
