Aldi Just Leaked Info on 81 New Groceries Hitting Stores Now — Here Are the 10 You Need to Know About
What’s in store for October? If our friends at Aldi have anything to do with it, spooky season is looking mighty cozy. Our sources just gave us a sneak peek at the list of new and seasonal items coming to stores this month, and it’s packed with fall flavors (you know the ones!), dreamy dinner shortcuts, some super-chill desserts, and more.
We’re bookending this list with pumpkin spice breakfast and dessert, because ‘tis (finally) the season. Let’s take a look at October’s top 10.
1. Breakfast Best Pumpkin Spice Waffles, $2.49
Start your day with a plate piled high with fall feels. Available October 18, you can find these pumpkin waffles (and their cinnamon-y cousins) in the freezer section. At $2.49 for 10, it’s worth grabbing a box of each.
2. Beaumont Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa Cups, $5.99
A cup of cocoa in the morning goes great with waffles, if you ask me. Pair this pumpkin spice hot cocoa with the above waffles, or go all in and make your own, for what truly sounds like the best meal of the day. Are cappuccinos more your drink of choice? Find pumpkin spice cups along with the hot cocoa ones on October 25.
3. Simply Nature Organic Chai Concentrate, $2.99
‘Tis the season for delicious drinks in mugs. This chai concentrate contains black tea and a blend of warming spices, like ginger, cardamom, clove, anise, and nutmeg. Just add milk — warmed or chilled — and your new favorite book. Look for the chai, along with the dirty chai and London fog flavors, in stores on October 25.
4. Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Chorizo Breakfast Pizza, $6.99
More is definitely more when it comes to breakfast pizza. This wood-fired-style crust is loaded up with eggs, chorizo, tomatoes, diced jalapeño, two kinds of cheese (mozzarella and cheddar), plus a cheesy sauce. Available October 25, we don’t hate the idea of breakfast-for-dinner pizza — at all.
5. Specially Selected Everything Bagel Stuffed Shrimp, $5.79
Looking for a conversation-starter to get your party, well, started? Stuffed with cream cheese and coated with an everything bagel-seasoned panko, these frozen shrimp are that app. Don’t be surprised to get questions, like “WHERE did you get these?” and “Can I move in?” after one bite. Look for them in the freezer section on October 11.
6. Specially Selected Pumpkin Beet and Goat Cheese Flatbread, $3.99
This flatbread is a no-brainer when it comes to group hangs. Available October 4, the extra-thin and crispy crust topped with chopped beets, goat cheese crumbles, mozzarella, red onion, arugula, and a garlicky sauce is a celebration in a box. But don’t sleep on its table-for-one potential. Paired with a salad kit, it’s got real weeknight dinner potential.
7. Priano Scrocchi Crackers with Sea Salt, $1.99
Speaking of delightfully crispy flatbreads, we’re keeping our calendars marked (October 11) and our eyes peeled 👀 for these Italian crackers. Available in sea salt and truffle with sea salt (not pictured), they can and should absolutely find their way onto your list of snack-board staples.
8. Priano Potato Gnocchi, $1.99
Available in the freezer section on October 11, these ($2!) pillowy gnocchi are ready in as little as two minutes — need we say more? Of course not, but allow us to indulge you with four more words: French onion skillet gnocchi.
9. Specially Selected Caramel Apple Blossoms, $3.29
It’s not fall without a caramel-apple dessert — or, in this case, two. Thankfully, this duo of apple-filled pastries topped with creamy caramel is coming to a freezer case near you VERY soon. Find them an apple-berry version in stores on October 4.
10. Belmont Pumpkin Spice Whipped Cheesecake, $5.99
Weighing in at a respectable one-and-a-half pounds, this whipped cheesecake with a crumbly cookie crust screams CROWD-PLEASER.
