Aldi Just Leaked Info on Dozens of New Groceries Hitting Stores This October — These Are the 10 We’re Most Excited About
For us, the first day of the month is always a treat. Why? A whole new batch of Aldi Finds is on the horizon. We got a sneak peek at the full list of groceries hitting stores this October and there are lot of new and returning items you’ll want to check out (and checkout). There are frozen favorites, dinner shortcuts, and, yes, sweet and savory treats. We went through the list and pulled out the 10 groceries we’re most excited about. Let’s take a look!
1. Season’s Choice Ginger Smoothie, $5.99
Mango, pineapple, banana, and ginger purée come together to put the smooth in your morning smoothie. Find it in the freezer section on October 5 along with two other smoothie flavors: turmeric and lemongrass.
2. Bake Shop Glazed Pumpkin Spice Donuts, $3.99
Meanwhile, over in our low-key favorite section, pumpkin spice is giving apple cider a run for its … dough. Available October 26, the only debate worth having is whether to have your first doughnut for breakfast or dessert.
3. Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Tavern Style Cheese Pizza, $5.99
No matter how you slice it, this extra-loaded thin crust pizza topped with mozz and cheddar is bound to be a crowd-pleaser. Yes, even if that crowd is a party of two! You can find it in stores on October 12.
4. Fusia Asian Inspirations Mandu Beef Dumplings, $6.29
These extra-loaded, extra-large dumplings are filled with Korean BBQ-style beef and vegetables and what can only be described as tons of flavor. You can bring them home on October 19. From there, just eight minutes in a pan stand between you and a plate of hot and crispy dumplings.
5. Clancy’s Cheesy Garlic Bread Potato Chips, $1.99
Cheesy garlic bread, but in potato chip form! We don’t know who runs the R&D over at Clancy’s, but they deserve a raise. Look for this bright yellow bag on October 12. (FYI: Both Beer- and Bratwurst-flavored chips will hit shelves one week later.)
6. Emporium Selection Transylvanian Hard Cheese, $4.29
Things are getting even cheesier in the dairy section. We counted not one, not two, but five (five!) different blocks arriving in stores this month. This Transylvanian Hard Cheese (and a similar version, but soaked in WINE) will be the first to hit shelves on October 5.
7. Specially Selected Charcuterie Trio, $9.89
If you like your cheese board with a mix of meat, specifically salame (aka salami), make sure to add this pre-sliced trio — Genoa, Italian Dry, and Calabrese — to your shopping list. Pro tip: You can also slice it and use it as a topping for your Mama Cozzi’s pizza. It’s available October 14, which we should note is a Friday. (If you’re not familiar, the Aldi Finds typically roll out weekly on Wednesdays.)
8. SeaMazz Orange Roughy Skinless & Boneless Raw Frozen Fillets, $9.99
Did you know you can skip the thawing and cook frozen fish straight from the freezer? Simply brush these fillets with olive oil (or your favorite marinade), season with salt and pepper, and get cooking. They’re also MSC-certified, which we love to see. Look for them in the freezer section on October 12.
9. Priano Tomato & Mozzarella Gnocchi, $2.99
Speaking of dinner shortcuts, this gnocchi is a gno-brainer. Imported from Italy, the tomato and mozzarella filled dumplings are what’s for dinner October 12. (Coincidentally, that’s when these hit stores.)
10. Clio Vanilla Greek Yogurt Mini Bars
New to Aldi stores, these Greek Yogurt bars have a chocolatey coating and come in two flavors: Vanilla and Strawberry. Mini in size only, they’re available on October 26. At roughly 50 cents a bar, they’re also a sweet bargain.
