Why does the shortest month routinely feel like the longest? Our sources at Aldi gave us a sneak peak at the fresh batch of Aldi Finds hitting shelves this March, and all we can say is Wednesday can’t come soon enough! (Coincidentally, Wednesday is when the limited-time Aldi Finds roll out weekly.) This list is packed with holiday hits, new standouts, and returning favorites.

What’s on our shopping list for the month? Frozen dinner shortcuts, celebratory sweets (and cheeses!), bakery goods, the return of the most underrated item in the store, and more! Here are our top 10 finds.

1. Specially Selected Seafood Jambalaya, $4.49

Make room in your freezer! Cooked rice with a mix of calamari, pollock, shrimp, kidney beans, and vegetables (bell peppers, corn, onion) in a spicy sauce, this frozen seafood jambalaya is a full-on party for two (maybe, three if you’re feeling generous). Look for it on shelves on March 1.

2. Friendly Farms Irish Cream Whipped Dairy Topping, $2.95

Is it just us or does a dollop of fluffy cream make things instantly more festive? This can of Irish cream whipped cream is available on March 1, which means we have the entire month to top off our coffees, hot cocoas, shakes, and pies and celebrate. Cheers to that!

3. Kirkwood Nashville Style Hot Dry Rub Wings, $8.99

First fillets. Then nuggets. And now wings! These Nashville-style wings are fully cooked, lightly breaded, and ready for their hot dry rub (which comes in a packet). Look for this third installment in the red bagged trilogy in the freezer section on March 8.

4. Fremont Fish Market Beer Battered Fish Fillets, $5.99

Speaking of frozen fillets, these are beer-battered and of the sea. They have a crispy exterior that gives way to a flaky interior and they come 10 to a bag. Quick math: That’s just under 60 cents per fillet!  Find them in the freezer section on March 1.

5. Emporium Selection Wensleydale with Lemon & Honey, $3.99

Aldi has a (very) small dairy farm’s worth of cheeses hitting shelves this month. Out of the nine blocks, wedges, and wheels, this chick-adorned Wensleydale is the one we’re eyeing. (It’s available March 15.) Sure the design is adorable, but what lies beneath — a creamy, crumbly, sweet, and citrusy cheese — is what truly makes it a holiday must-have this season.

6. Appleton Farms Pork Sausage, $2.49

Considered by one avid Aldi fan (and frequent Kitchn contributor) to be the most underrated item in the store, we now have a special place reserved in our cart for these sausages. (It’s the front right corner, ICYW.) Available in both Hot and Italian-Style varieties, you can find them in stores on March 15.

7. Specially Selected Hummus Crisps, $2.19

Hummus is one of our favorite (and most foolproof!) party spreads — especially when said party is for one. Whether you opt for homemade or store-bought hummus, give it a simple zhuzh (think: swirled in a bowl, drizzled with olive oil, and sprinkled with salt flakes) and serve it alongside these crispy rounds and you’re good to go. Look for them on shelves March 29.

8. Specially Selected Flavored Gourmet Peaches, $3.99

Do you have a countdown to peach season? Same! While we impatiently wait for summer’s bounty, we’ll be dipping into these jars for our salads, salsas, sips, sweets, and more!

Find all three varieties — with ginger flavor, in pineapple juice with coconut flavor, and in passion fruit juice — in stores on March 29.

9. Specially Selected Everything Brioche Rolls, $4.39

The buttery brioche rolls are some of the most versatile in Aldi’s bakery section, and these truly are everything. Available March 29, the mix of garlic, onion, and sesame and poppy seeds is the extra seasoning your breakfast sandwiches and chicken salad lunches need.

10. Benton’s Easter Bunny House Kit, $8.99

Gingerbread paved the way for heart-adorned homes and this adorable Easter Bunny House Kit, and we are here for it. The kits — which include vanilla-flavored cookies, ready-made icing, and a mix of candies for decorating — are available March 22 and will look equally as excellent in a basket and displayed on a dinner table.
