Whether you’re hitting the road or hanging local, a trip to Aldi should be the number-one stop you make this summer. This is pretty much always the case, but it’s especially true next month, when Aldi will release 131 new and returning groceries that are all about ease and affordability. There are portable snacks, ready-made starters, dinner shortcuts, and more — all for $6 or less! There’s also a pack of pink-hued ice cream sandwiches (with sprinkles!) that we can’t wait to try.

Here are the 10 items we’re most excited about.

Make room on your fruit platters and snack spreads: This Cookie Butter Hummus is back and, ICYW, it’s a returning favorite. Sweetly spiced and reminiscent of classic speculoos cookies, the dip is gluten-free and vegan and can be found in refrigerator cases on July 13. 

You are going to love how crispy, delightfully salty, and portable these roasted seaweed snacks are. Available on July 13, you may want to consider stocking up for any future road trips you have (or haven’t yet) planned.

These almond butter-filled pretzels don’t come in a 1.5-pound bag like some other nuggets. But. But! They’re likely just as salty, creamy, crunchy, and delicious as their peanutty counterparts and are available starting July 13. Bonus: The bag is also resealable and great for summer road trips.

Of all the Greek-inspired groceries dropping this month (looking at you, tzatziki-flavored kettle chips), these spanakopita are the ones you should seek out … first. Available on July 13 in the freezer section, the spinach and cheese appetizers are the (party) starter for your next backyard hang.

Whole & Simple has several budget-friendly, heat-and-eat meals hitting shelves this month and this Tahini & Chickpea protein bowl — made with rice and veggie blends, plus white and green garbanzo beans — is bound to be a new favorite. Find it, along with the Edamame Energy Bowl, Adobo Chicken Grain Bowl, Korean Inspired Beef Bowl, and more, in the freezer section starting July 13.

If this pizza sounds like a lot, it’s only because it is (in the best way, of course). It’s everything you love about pepperoni pizza, with the added sweet heat and salty flair from the hot honey and pretzel-style crust. And it’s available on July 27.

Shelf-stable and ready in just 60 seconds, this plant-based taco filling is sustainably sourced and the start to a quick and easy taco night. Just add tortillas and the aforementioned Texas Caviar and call it dinner. It’s available on July 13.

While the classic chocolate and vanilla ice cream sandos are always a winner, this pink-hued variation is pure delight. Made with premium sugar cookie ice cream and sprinkles sandwiched between two graham cracker wafers, you can find them in the freezer section on July 27.
