Aldi Just Leaked Info on More than 100 New Groceries Hitting Stores This January — These Are the 10 We’re Most Excited About
If you’re an Aldi fan, you know today’s countdown is just beginning. The start of a new month — whether or not it happens to fall on the first day of a new year — means a fresh batch of Aldi Finds. We got a sneak peek at the list of items hitting shelves in January, and the discount retailer has BIG plans for our meals ahead.
There are chocolate waffles, chicken sausages, chickpeas (in the form of pizza and protein bowls), and pickle-flavored chips, as well as sparkling waters, stuffed raviolis, and Valentine’s Day sweets. Plus, garlic ghee and a honey-buttered corn blend. Needless to say (but you know we will anyway!), this month is looking like the best one yet. These are the 10 Aldi Finds we’re most excited about — and they’re all under $10.
1. Breakfast Best Double Chocolate Belgian Waffles, $3.29
Breakfast really is at its best with these frozen Belgian waffles. They’re thick! They’re fluffy! They’re extra chocolatey! They’re available starting January 18 in the freezer section.
2. PurAqua Belle Vie Peach Pear Sparkling Water, $3.89
If your New Year’s resolution is to drink more water, why not add some that sparkles to your routine? Available on January 4 in three fruity flavors (Peach Pear, Blueberry Raspberry, and Lemon Ginger), these bubbly beverages could become a regular stand-in for your daily H2O.
3. Banza Four Cheese Chickpea Crust Pizza, $8.99
Mama Cozzi is getting a cheesy new neighbor on January 4, and its name is Banza. These four-cheese pizzas, from the masterminds behind some very satisfying chickpea pasta, are taking up residence in the freezer section. Here’s hoping the move is permanent.
4. Clancy’s Fried Pickle Ranch Wavy Potato Chips, $1.99
Fried. Pickle. Ranch. Wavy. Potato. Chips. We just have one question: Who do we need to know to secure a spot on the potato-chip tasting panel? Until we find out, we’ll be counting down to January 25, when these bold bags hit shelves.
5. 4th & Heart Garlic Ghee, $9.99
This clarified butter is another name-brand item you’ll find on Aldi shelves starting January 11. Either jar — it’s available in Himalayan Pink Salt and Garlic — will add lots of buttery flavor to curry or dal, roasted veggies or fried eggs, and toast or naan. (Don’t forget the jam!)
6. Whole & Simple Tahini & Chickpea Protein Bowl, $3.29
Made with brown rice, black lentils, sweet potatoes, and green and white garbanzo beans, we took one look at this frozen protein bowl and thought, well, that’s lunch! Or, at least it could be on January 11.
7. Earth Grown Vegan Spinach Ravioli, $3.79
From protein bowls to bowls of carbs, these (certified) vegan ravioli are back on January 4! Filled with white beans, spinach, and onion, the pillowy pasta takes four minutes to boil and could easily disappear just as fast. Pausing between bites is recommended.
8. Simply Nature Organic Tomato Basil Mozzarella Chicken Sausage, $4.99
Sheet pan, skillet, slow cooker … the dinner possibilities for these chicken sausages are seemingly endless. Available on January 11, do you future self a favor and pick up an extra to stash in the freezer.
9. Season’s Choice Steamed Chipotle Corn Blend, $2.49
Aldi is dishing out steamy, honey-buttered deliciousness with this blend of corn, black beans, and poblano and red bell peppers. Add it to your eggs or orzo, mold it into fritters, or simply serve it straight-up. You may even want to nab two bags in the freezer section on January 18.
10. Choceur Valentines Mini Chocolate, $2.40
We have gushed about the chocolate section before — multiple times, in fact — and have zero doubt this premium European assortment we’ll be equally as swoon-worthy once we get our paws on them on January 11. If you’re the type of person who picks up heart-shaped (or adorned!) boxes well before Valentine’s Day, this adorable seven-ounce box is for you … and your loved ones!
