Aldi Just Leaked Info on More than 100 New Groceries Hitting Stores This January — These Are the Ones We’re Most Excited About
Who’s ready for 2022? A fresh year, fresh start, and a fresh batch of Aldi Finds. Our favorite budget-friendly grocer just shared the upcoming list of new items hitting store shelves next month. Come January, there are going to be lots of plant-based items, dinner shortcuts, bold snacks, and more. We went through the list and pulled out the 10 Aldi Finds that we’re most excited about — and they’re all under $5. Let’s take a look!
1. L’oven Fresh Keto Friendly Bagels, $3.99
They’re baaaaaack! We first spotted this keto-friendly find in August 2021. We also predicted they’d be a huge hit. Starting January 12, you can snag yourself a bag or three (these bagels are also freezer-friendly).
2. Taco Bell Soft Taco Dinner Kit, $2.29
This kit comes with 10 flour tortillas, Taco Bell mild sauce, and seasoning. So come January 19, all you need to add is your ground meat and toppings of choice. Are you a member of Team Hard Shell? We’re happy to report there is also a Hard Taco Kit.
3. Season’s Choice Avocado Chunks, $2.99
These avocado chunks will be waiting in the freezer section on January 12 and we’re so ready to add them to everything. We’re thinking they’d be great, say, spread on a freshly toasted bagel or atop a cheesy taco. Or in a smoothie!
4. Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Pepperoni Stromboli, $2.99
Mama Cozzi’s take-and-bake pizzas are convincingly good and, come January, you’ll be able to find three fun takes on the classic crust: cauliflower, gluten-free, and biscuit. And, also this stromboli! Made with pepperoni and mozzarella wrapped in dough, it’s something we can really get our hands around. There’s also a supreme version! Both are available on January 19.
5. Earth Grown Tofu Cubes, $3.29
We’re always looking for dinner — or WFH lunch — shortcuts we can try and we will definitely be picking these up on January 5. The vegan tofu cubes will be available in BBQ or Sesame Ginger. We’ll take one of each, please!
6. Beyond Meat Plant-Based Meatballs, $4.99
Made with pea protein, these Italian-style plant based meatballs are rolled up and ready to go (just how we like them!). Serve them with a saucy bowl of pasta. They’d also be super stacked on some hero bread. Maybe even Parm-style. You can find them in the fridge section on January 12.
7. L’oven Fresh Pretzel Bites, $4.99
Handcrafted, soft, artisan are just a few of the words to describe these bites. Chewy and delicious also come to mind. We suggest you turn on the oven as soon as you get home, brush them with some melted butter, sprinkle with salt (pack included!) and heat them until warm. Let’s all mark our calendars for January 26, which is when they come out.
8. Clancy’s Nashville Hot Chicken Kettle Chips, $1.89
We’re not sure what will be better: snacking on these hot-chicken flavored chips straight from the bag (or bowl, if you’re feeling fancy) OR stacking a few of these kettle-cooked chips on a sandwich for added spice and crunch. Find them in stores on January 26 and see for yourself.
9. The Cheesecake Factory Cafe Mocha Mix-In Desserts, $1.89
New! From Cheesecake Factory! These espresso-infused pudding cups with a decadent mix-in of dark chocolate cookie crunch and ZERO wait (that is, starting January 19, when they’re available). There’s also a creme brûlée flavor.
10. Benton’s Shortbread Strawberry Hearts, $2.29
There are several heart-shaped items hitting stores this month, but these strawberry shortbread cookies — which are available on January 19 — have our, well, heart. Beneath that buttery cookie and fruit filling lies a decadent milk chocolate base. Which, swoon!
