April at Aldi is shaping up to be a real (grocery) basket of goodies. Our sources gave us a sneak peak at the latest batch of Aldi Finds hitting shelves this April, and it’s loaded with spring-forward flavors (hello, citrus!) and promises of summer — is that the ice cream truck I hear coming down the block?

There are sweet and spicy snacks, delightful shortcuts, and fruity drinks. There’s also a duo of frozen desserts worth making room in the freezer for. Better yet, everything on this list runs less than $10, with the majority coming in under $5! Let’s take a look at our top 10 picks.

1. Southern Grove Gochujang Spiced Almonds, $5.69

Almonds are a classic snack to munch on anytime of day, and Aldi is giving them a little extra appeal with some sweet heat, courtesy of gochujang. Spice enthusiasts won’t want to miss this bag when it hits shelves April 19. They’re so easy to eat by the handful, you may need to grab two bags.

2. Clancy’s Cinnamon Churros, $1.49

There’s just something about Aldi and red-bagged items. These crispy churros are everything I love about those Taco Bell cinnamon-y twists, conveniently packaged in a multi-serving bag. Find the sweet snack back on shelves starting April 26.

3. State of Brewing Dragonfruit Imperial Hard Seltzer, $8.99

Out of all the hard seltzers I’ve drank (which have been plenty!), I’ve yet to come across one with dragon fruit — until now! Available starting April 5, these carbonated concoctions kick the fruity flavors up a notch further with hints of pineapple and soursop.

4. Season’s Choice Egg Fried Riced Cauliflower, $2.79

You’ve probably heard us rave about Aldi’s freezer section, and this veggie-forward and friendly dish is just one more standout to add to the list. Available in two flavors (Egg Fried and Thai Green Curry) starting April 19, the steam-in-bag riced cauliflowers are ripe for a quick and easy breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

5. Fusia Asian Inspirations Shrimp Lo Mein, $4.99

Despite the crustaceans, there’s nothing shrimpy about this lo mein. It’s packed with a mix of vegetables: mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas, red bell peppers, and onions, oh my! Ready in 10 minutes you can find it — and a Shrimp Fried Rice — in the freezer section on April 5.

6. Specially Selected Wood Fired Spinach & Goat Cheese Pizza, $4.49

The latest pizza to hit Aldi’s frozen section is bringing creamy spinach dip vibes to this crispy wood-fired crust, and my mouth is already watering. It drops on April 5, and I vote we have a pizza party that night to celebrate.

7. Earth Grown Lemon Pepper Tofu Cubes, $3.59

These lemon pepper tofu cubes are pre-marinated (and pre-sliced), which means minimal prep work! We highly recommend you break out your cornstarch and cast iron pan to give them a crispy crust. You may even want to pair them with the riced-cauliflower for a more meaty meal. Find them in the refrigerator case on April 12.

8. Simply Nature Organic Pesto alla Genovese, $2.99

Jarred sauces are weeknight heroes. They make meals happen. Which is why, come April 12, you’ll want to add this fan-favorite pesto to your cart. Mix it into pasta, of course, plus dips, breads, salads, and more. Bonus: Aldi is also bringing back Pesto Rossa, made with sweet sun-dried tomatoes, to shelves!

9. Sundae Shoppe Strawberries and Cream Rose Cones, $3.99

Warm days are ahead, which is why we’re closing out our list back in the freezer aisle with two cool sweets! Layers of strawberry and vanilla cream, mixed with strawberry sauce, sit neatly in these adorable chocolatey cones. The returning favorite — available April 26 — rivals the best ice cream truck treats. So stock up when you see ‘em.

10. Earth Grown Vanilla with Chocolate Chip Cookies Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert Cookie Sandwiches, $4.29

Speaking of, these frozen cookie sandwiches might as well come with their own jingle. Reminiscent of the classic Chipwich (another ice cream truck specialty), the non-dairy desserts will be in freezer cases starting April 12, along with their cocoa cookie counterparts. Consider my calendar marked!
