PSA: Aldi Is Dropping a $9 Version of the Internet-Famous Stanley Tumbler
With companies like Target jumping at the opportunity to collaborate with Stanley (Target just dropped a new Stanley tumbler line in collaboration with Joanna Gaines!), it only makes sense that we have started to see other companies throw their hat in the ring to compete with the increasingly popular Stanley brand.
If you’re looking for a reusable travel mug that keeps drinks hot or cold for long periods of time, is durable, and made of stainless steel, then generally Stanley is the way to go. But it comes at a steep price point — so you may be tempted to look for a more affordable version, and luckily Stanley cup dupes are cropping up everywhere (like this budget-friendly $5 version from Five Below!).
Now, the newest Stanley cup dupe to enter the ring comes from everybody’s favorite German-owned grocery store, Aldi, and the price point alone is enough to grab your attention right out of the gate.
While there is little information available on the new tumbler at the moment, the Crofton 40-ounce Thirst Crusher Tumbler from Aldi looks to be a pretty close copy of the Stanley 40-ounce Quencher mug, but literally at a fraction of the price. Stanley’s tumbler goes for a cool $45, but you’ll be able to snag Aldi’s version for just $9.99 — a total steal!
Featuring a sealable lid and a reusable straw, the Thirst Crusher Tumbler is set to release on August 30, and will be available in four different colors: cream, flint grey, charcoal, and light blue. August 30 can’t come soon enough! But if you’re impatient, Five Below’s version is available online and in more colors to boot.
