This $5 Aldi Freezer Find Is Finally Back for the Holidays — But Not for Long
There’s a whole lot of excess when it comes to the holidays. We’re roasting giant turkeys or prime rib, and accompanying those main courses with tons of starchy sides and desserts. It comes to the point when we want to be festive but we also want it to be a whole lot less work (and ingredients!). That’s why we’re loving Aldi’s new holiday frozen pizzas.
Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Holiday Tree or Star Pizza is a cute way to have a casual dinner party during the holiday season. According to the package on this festive Aldi Find, the veggie-forward five-point star-shaped pizza is described as “topped with cheddar cheese, red and green bell peppers, and mozzarella pearls,” and sells for $4.99. The holiday tree is essentially the same in concept, just in the shape of a tree instead of a star, but also a veggie pizza meant to be shared for the same price. This pizza is topped with mozzarella, cheddar cheese, red and yellow bell peppers, and pesto cream sauce.
The pizzas, which promise on the packaging to be products of Italy, are found in the frozen foods section, and are just big enough to share with one person, perhaps with a side of salad (or one hungry person can eat it solo, too, of course!). They are the latest in seasonal pizza installments. There’s also an adorable pumpkin shaped pizza that was an Aldi Find during a recent Halloween season. To make these pizzas, just preheat the oven to 390 degrees Fahrenheit and cook the pizza for 12 to 15 minutes. It’s quick and easy and is sure to hit the spot during the busy holiday season.
With a holiday pizza party theme in the books, it just may be time to start thinking of our Valentine’s Day heart-shaped pizzas. It’ll be here before you know it!
