Aldi Just Brought Back a $3 Limited-Edition Breakfast Find That’s Flying Off Shelves
There’s just something about chocolate-covered strawberries that screams Valentine’s Day. The rich chocolate paired with the sweetness of the fruit is ideal for a romantic evening with your partner or a perfect addition to your Galentine’s Day dessert spread. In addition to your fresh fruit concoctions this holiday, you may want to celebrate accordingly with some chocolate strawberry-flavored treats — and Aldi has the perfect product to do it with.
After the popularity of Chocolate-Strawberry Cheerios last year, General Mills has decided to release the limited-edition cereal yet again this year. Fortunately for us, you can grab a box (or two, or maybe three) at Aldi. When we say the cereal was popular last year, we mean shoppers were having trouble snagging a box — it just couldn’t stay in stock.
While the product is delicious on its own (with your dairy or nondairy milk of choice, of course), you can also get creative in the kitchen and craft cereal bars, a cereal snack mix, or even cereal cookies. The possibilities are truly endless!
Aldi is currently selling the cereal for $3.49 a box, but if you can’t find them at Aldi, other major grocers (such as Kroger, Safeway, Walmart, and Shaws) seem to be selling the limited-edition treat.
It’s probably in your best interest to stock up on these ASAP if you want a taste of what everyone is raving about. If this year goes anything like the last, the cereal will likely sell out faster than you can say “be my Valentine.”
