If You Spot This Cozy $15 Aldi Find in Stores, Grab It
There are so many things to get excited about when autumn arrives — the hearty stews, the apples, the pumpkins, and, most importantly, the fall-scented candles. Whether you’re a big pumpkin spice fan or sweet maple is more your flavor, German discount superstore Aldi has one new gem you’ll want to snag ASAP: The Huntington Home Wooden Candle Warmer Lantern.
Aside from affordable groceries and the cart quarter system, Aldi is known for its stellar candle selection — from dreamy wooden bowls to sweet frosted glass pumpkins — and its latest decor edition is the perfect accessory. The new wooden candle warmer lantern plugs into an outlet and has a 25-watt bulb that sits atop the candle to heat the wax, filling the room with the warm scent of the candle without a flame. At $14.99, it has charming rustic metal detailing in your choice of three different wood shades fit for every aesthetic: light wood, white wash wood, and dark wood.
In the Aldi Aisle of Shame Community Facebook group, several shoppers shared photos of their candle warming setup, noting how hard they were to snag. Dozens of commenters said they had to check several stores for it because it sold out so quickly from their local Aldi.
One shopper, Bonnie Coburn Simmerly, shared a photo of her lantern (above) in the dark wood that she’s “in love with!” She also told us, “The lantern not only looks beautiful, but it’s great quality. The house smells wonderful, and the soy candles burn so nicely, too.” Candle warmers also help candles last longer because the wax evaporates more slowly than when the wick is lit.
Another Aldi shopper, Kristina Auwarter, shared a photo of her white wooden candle warmer (above), telling us, “I love that I can safely use my candles with my 15-month-old in the house and not worry about the flame. That was a big selling feature for me.” Safety’s always a bonus! Plus, you never have to worry about forgetting to blow your candle out.
If you see the Huntington Home Wooden Candle Warmer Lantern in your local Aldi (or online!), you might want to snag a few, because they won’t last long. Throw them in your spread at your next fall get-together to keep your food warm, or add a hint of coziness and autumn fragrance to your space. In case you don’t live near an Aldi, Amazon sells a version for just a few dollars more. Happy melting!
