Just like many of us, even the grocery stores are getting a refresh after the winter holidays. Aldi’s clerks have stocked the shelves with everything you need for winter hibernation. While winter Aldi Finds are sure to be of interest, these are the best everyday items that you’ll find all season long at Aldi. Have your quarter ready to release the cart from the outdoor corral, and if you only buy a few items from Aldi this winter, let it be these.

1. Mama Cozzi Pizza, $2.75

When it’s too cold to even open the door for pizza delivery, you’ll be thankful to have one of these in the freezer. The rising-crust variety is a convincing DiGiorno dupe at a fraction of the price, but there are thin-crust and oversized refrigerated varieties of Mama Cozzi pizzas available, too. Make a plan to stock your freezer before Friday night or risk a sold-out freezer section.

2. Simply Nature Organic Chicken Broth, $1.79 for 32 ounces

Soup is an easy way to warm up this winter. When you make as much as I do, I expect that you’ll use a lot of broth. Stock up on this Aldi Fan Favorite organic chicken broth to save some money without sacrificing flavor.

3. Reggano Penne Rigate or Rotini, $0.79 for 16 ounces

Cozy winter meals call for tender pasta tossed in a slow-cooked sauce. Pack your pantry with a pound of pasta and you’ll be ready to turn it into stovetop casseroles and freezer-friendly dinners in mere minutes.

4. Specially Selected Sliced Sourdough Round $2.99 for 24 ounces

My best tip for keeping a winter kitchen is to always have a fresh loaf of crusty bread on the counter. Turn chewy slices of sourdough bread into an epic grilled cheese with the help of Aldi’s extensive (and inexpensive!) cheese selection. Use the bread to top a steaming mug of onion soup, or douse it in sweet eggy custard for overnight French toast.

5. Cook House Tikka Masala, $1.99 for 15 ounces

Easy winter meals don’t have to come from a can. Heat frozen rice until steaming and top with bite-sized pieces of chicken simmered in tikka masala sauce. The full-flavored sauce isn’t spicy, so it makes a meal the whole family will love.

6. Mandarins, $2.49 for 3 pounds

Citrus fruits are the one bright spot of a season that can be bleak and monochromatic. Add a bag of easy-peel oranges to your cart every time you make a trip.

7. Millville Steel-Cut Oats, $2.99 for 30 ounces

Cool winter mornings call for cozy slippers and bowls of piping-hot steel-cut oats. You’ll never tire of the creamy cereal if you switch up the toppings; dried fruit and nuts one morning and a cinnamon swirl the next.

8. Specially Selected Gouda or Edam cheese, $2.99 for 7 ounces

Remember that piping-hot bowl of French onion soup I mentioned earlier? You’ll need some Edam for it! And get the Gouda, too, for grilled cheese!

9. Kombucha Wonder Drink, $2.89 for 14 ounces

Fizzy, probiotic-rich kombucha is all the rage these days, but it comes with a high price tag. Stock your fridge with this affordable option from Aldi! It’ll keep your gut happy all winter long.

10. Moser Roth Chocolates, $2 for 4.4 ounces

Yes, we put this on the summer shopping list for Aldi (for s’mores!), but here it is again. Because good chocolate never goes out of season. Treat yourself to some now or get some for your Valentine in a few weeks.

What are you stocking up on at Aldi this winter?
