Aldi Fans Are Totally Freaking Out Over This $10 Rug

Okay, so Aldi has some pretty hardcore fans for their amazing snacks, wines, and furniture items. There’s no wonder since you can find some awesome picks at some great price points. And these fans are SO dedicated that they created a Facebook group (with over 650,000 people!) to chat about Aldi’s latest and greatest items, as well as to offer tips and photos on how to use and enjoy their purchases. 

Called the ALDINerd.com Community, this Facebook page is packed with the best choices in dining, pet care, home, and more — but there seems to be a rug/runner that has been making quite the statement in people’s kitchens, living rooms, and even home nurseries. Why? Well, it’s cute and functional and it’s super inexpensive at just $9.99. 

Yup — just a 10 dollar item is literally going VIRAL on this Facebook page with photos of the beautiful runner in various people’s homes. Some photos have dogs sitting on them or babies laying down and smiling — all showing how excited people (and animals) are for this latest home edition. Many people are using them in the kitchen, too.

The Huntington Home Utility Runner was released as an Aldi Find in late December and inventory may differ by store. Each week, Aldi introduces limited-time premium food and household items through its Aldi Finds program to surprise shoppers with trendy products. And that’s right — this runner/rug is one of them! It was definitely a pretty popular and widely beloved surprise.

The runner comes in four colors. There’s the Trellis which you see above (grey/white), the Scranton (charcoal/grey), the Pindot (tan/brown), and the Mabel (blue/white). There have been a few different photos of these runners on the page, giving some variety. As for fabric, the runner is made of 100% polypropylene.

So, if you’re hoping to snag one for your home, you can call different locations and inquire about availability. We aren’t sure how many are there, or for how long the supplies will last, but if you do get one, consider it a major gift and real luck. And who knows, maybe people will start selling them online due to high demand! At this rate, we wouldn’t be shocked one bit. 

If you do get the runner, place it in your kitchen, in the hallway, in the bathroom as a great shower mat, or in a children’s playroom. There are so many wonderful possibilities for how to display the runner, as it’s a great design, sturdy, and will fit in just about anywhere!
