One of Adele’s Beverly Hills Homes Is Up for Sale — Here’s What the Kitchen Looks Like
One of Adele’s three Los Angeles homes is up for grabs, but if you’re in the market for a new place to call your own, you’ll need to shovel out a pretty penny to nab this one. Set at the modest price of $12 million, the 4-bedroom, 4-bath single-family home boasts tons of amenities, famous neighbors, and a coveted 90210 zip code. But you don’t want to hear about that — we’re just here to talk about the kitchen (no pun intended).
Luxury Listings — an Instagram account dedicated to … well, you can probably guess — shared photos of the mansion and the details include a clean, elegant aesthetic that is neither full-on modern nor traditional.
The kitchen itself is sparsely decorated, with both white and gray cabinets and drawers providing plenty of room to keep cooking utensils and accessories completely out of sight. The wooden storage spaces are contrasted by metallic accents including a matte stainless steel gas stove — built into the counter — a double wall oven, and a wine fridge. The light fixtures and cabinet handles, on the other hand, add a little flair in that they are made of brushed gold.
At the center of the semi-luxurious kitchen, naturally, is an enormous island with bar seating for two. Its white and gray marble top is replicated across all of the counters and is also mirrored in the subway tile backsplash, which features a slightly darker pattern, heavier on the gray.
Beyond that space, there’s quite a bit of opulence to be found. As the listing suggests, the property’s enchanting design includes a library, family room, and a combo dining/living room area that each comes with their own fireplaces. Love to garden? This home also comes with a vegetable garden to help you perfect your green thumb while other amenities include a gym, security room, and spa.
That description, however, barely does the lush outdoor space any justice. It also features a covered deck that runs across the back length of the house, with vines romantically clinging to the wooden posts leading to the roof. I even think I spotted an outdoor kitchen in the background. From there, a stone walkway takes you across the perfectly manicured lawn to the dark slate swimming pool and jacuzzi, with its own separate lounging area.
The English songstress isn’t the only high-profile celeb who has called the space home. The 5,515-square-foot home once belonged to Nicole Richie, and would make Jennifer Lawrence, Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman, and Penelope Cruz the new owner’s neighbor. The listing is being managed by The Agency, a boutique real estate brokerage with global reach soon to be at the center of Netflix’s latest Selling Sunset spin-off, Selling Beverly Hills.
The West coast not your preferred area to live in? You can always put your bid in for Mariah Carey’s Georgia mansion instead.
