Love fresh, homemade tortillas but don’t have the time to make them? Flatev wants to change that. The Flatev machine use dough-filled pods to create “fresh” tortillas. Similar to the Keurig, you simply insert a single pod into the machine and push a button and out comes a tortilla!

In a rather hilarious video, Flatev is marketed to people who want to entertain but don’t want to spend too much time making the kitchen messy.

The dough in the pods is made from stoneground corn flour and water, so the pods need to be refrigerated before using. The pods will come in a few flavors, including plain, honey, chili, and cheese. After pressing the button on the machine, it will take Flatev about a minute to dispense the tortilla.

The first generation of Flatev is currently available for pre-order and retails at $199. If everything goes as planned, Flatev will be available to consumers in early 2015.
