Of all the awesome things in the world that I didn’t realize existed until this very moment, this disco ball pizza oven has to be one of the best. Oh, and it spins, too!

As Remodelista wrote in a recent post, new Viennese restaurant Disco Volante (or Flying Disc) asked design collective Madame Mohr to design a space that melded the traditional feel of an Italian trattoria with the sparkling feel of the 70s and 80s Italo-Disco era. Hence the birth of the disco ball wood-fired pizza oven, made from heat-resistant concrete and over 7,500 mirrored tiles!
