Hello, 15-minute creamy garlic pasta: GET IN MY BELLY, PLEASE. I kid you not when I say that my stomach is audibly growling right now whilst I behold this sight for starving eyes. The spaghetti, perfectly interlaced, sauced, peppered, and herbed, is legitimately singing a siren song to me. In all honestly, if I am not nose-diving into a bowl of pasta within the next 15 minutes, I might just lose my noodle. (This is why a salted pot of water is boiling at this very moment.)
*Tries not to watch pot boil.*
Fifteen minutes is about the same length of time that you need to put Kraft mac and cheese on the table, so why not make homemade creamy garlic pasta instead? I promise this will fill the very same void that you originally planned to fill with a packet of that powdered cheese.
*Taylor Swift voice* Are you ready for it? In a hot pan, make a roux with butter and flour. Add in minced garlic (to your liking), chicken broth, and heavy cream. (This is the secret to the sauce!) Let the whole thing thicken and then add in any cooked noodles you prefer. The recipe calls for linguine, but I currently have a package of bucatini in my possession that is destined for a bath in this luscious sauce.
