The long line of beautiful, heavy-timber-bestowed kitchens that have us salivating could go on and on. Here, we’ve narrowed it down to ten to share with you:

1 / 10

The materiality and solidity of heavy timber construction make a kitchen feel so warm. It adds age to an industrial modern aesthetic and a rough edge to the strictly traditional. Some of these kitchens are simply accented with exposed beams. Others take timber to a whole other level, exposing it on other surfaces, too, for a darker result (like that gorgeous kitchen in image 10!).

You can bet that if we had something more than standard joists and studs in our ceilings and walls, we’d be quick to expose them! Are you one of the lucky few living in a heavy timber structure that’s exposed in the kitchen? Or have you faked the look in your home? Please tell below.
