We know that drinking that morning cup of joe can be good for you, but the ritual of preparing your coffee might be beneficial, too.

Fast Company recently highlighted several creative professionals who spend time each morning preparing their perfect cup. (It takes more than just pushing a button after all.)

They assert that the focus dedicated to grinding coffee beans and brewing a cup with a pour-over brewer like a Chemex, can help train your brain to focus on one thing at a time. Psychologists back that up saying you can train your brain just like you'd train your biceps.
