Taking a casserole or dish back and forth from a party or get together can often be frustrating. There are the logistics of reheating if you're traveling far, and if you take mass transit, the idea of carrying around a Pyrex dish on the train isn't exactly appealing. Enter Vonny, the company striving to make your casserole look as good as you do!
It's not that we think your casserole has to have clothes to make it to a party, but we aren't into clogging the host or hostesses oven while we reheat our dish. Plus, a few handles and a bit of fashion never hurts right? Each casserole tote has a pocket for serving utensils, plates or napkins on top and is available for $45 from Vonny.
If you're not the casserole type, they also make super sturdy and well constructed bags that are perfect for taking to Farmer's Markets or a ride across town.

Oh my goodness! I just went to a party on Sunday and brought a lasagna - I wish I had one of these then! I drove, but I was worried about sauce leaking out from under the foil as I drove around, and about how I was going to bring the HOT dish in the car, and what I was going to do to keep it warm once I got going!!!
My large casserole dish came with an insulated zippered carrier--including a hot/cold pack--and a fitted plastic lid. I haven't needed it, but I love that it's there if I have to bring a hot dish somewhere.
My mom always used an old bath towel to transport casseroles, brownies, cakes, etc. Fold the towel once or twice, depending on the size, and wrap it around the dish. Voila! No sauce leaking in your car and you're protected from the heat.
Adorable. I had a tacky one that came with a pyrex dish. I tossed it out ears ago, but this would make a great replacement.
ok, perfect christmas gift for my mother in law.
Since I have to transport things on a bus or subway, this is PERFECT!
