We've seen a lot of crazy bloody Mary garnishes over the years, but this one might be the most utilitarian of the bunch. Enter the meat straw, which is exactly what it sounds like: a meat stick (think jerky) with a hole down the center.
While it should come as no surprise that the inventor of Benny's Original Meat Straws came up with the idea for his invention after a few beers, it might surprise you what a success they've become.
The meaty sippers are now available at many bars, restaurants, and major sporting-event stadiums all over the Midwest. Last year Benny's sold more than 30,000 straws at concession stands alone.
Would you drink your bloody Mary through a meat straw?
