Tomatoes and watermelon are quintessential summer ingredients. And while I've heard of putting them together in a salad, I'd never heard of pairing them in a cocktail — until now, that is.

To make these margs, you'll first need to whip up a batch of watermelon-tomato juice; all you have to do is blend the two ingredients and then run the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer.

Once you have your juice, you just mix it with tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and salt in a tumbler with ice. Garnish with fresh basil and you've got a refreshing cocktail that's perfect for summer sipping.
