Brass is not the finish you normally associate with clean, modern spaces. These days, most people doing a kitchen renovation stick to cabinet pulls that are nickel, stainless steel, or maybe something funky like these. But here's a fresh, updated kitchen with lovely gold-toned knobs. What do you think?
Maybe this isn't really a modern kitchen at all?
The house was built in 1891, and the glass-front cabinets were designed to look original. A lot of details—the lighting, floors, and trim on the cabinets—are traditional. But then there's the stainless steel finishes and cool, custom pot rack.
We love how the brass knobs mix with the stainless steel to create a very comfortable, classic room. Those little pops of gold really warm up the space.
