Last year Liberty Hardware launched their Homegrown Hardware collection at Home Depot. The collection features handcrafted knobs and pulls made in the USA by three artisans: Tammy Newhof (from Grand Rapids, MI) makes her drawer pulls and knobs from fused glass; Sue Salvaterra-Hintz (from Weaverville, NC) handcrafts her cabinet knobs from clay; and blacksmith Matt Waldrop (from Zirconia, NC) forges all his hardware from iron.

This special collection is available in-store in select Home Depots across the Southeast and in New York, but you can buy the full collection online. Prices for the hardware start and $10 and go up to $40.

It's great to see a big box store like Home Depot carry a collection like this, not only to support the work of these artisans but also to make their products so accessible to the rest of us!
