One week, one wine. The idea behind Wine.Woot is very similar to the original Woot site - overstocked and end-of-season products at rock-bottom prices.
The original Woot focuses on electronics, but Wine.Woot is just for wine. They put up wine deals for a week (instead of Woot's one-day sales) and they have a forum of other oenophiles to discuss the week's offering.
They say, wine inventory is equally subject to overstock, excess, and end-of-life opportunities, and they offer replacements if the wine you gamble on is downright bad. It's a chance to try something new at a low price.
Have you ever ordered from Wine.Woot?

this is sad for those of us who live in states where it's illegal to receive wine in the mail :(
Damned local laws. What if you declare your home a commercial building?
Hmmm... our building used to be a department store.... that might be a possibility!
All it takes is a little creative thinking. :D
