I love Cuisinart processors. I have the "mini" version which is perfect for daily use--chopping and salad dressings. This larger model is perfect for the times I cook larger meals for my friends.

Am I the only person in the world whose Cuisinart spews flour from its sides? Every single time I pulse dry ingredients I end up with flour sprinkled all over my (very small) counter and the produce I keep on it.

I've never owned a food processor, but I have to saying the having a disability sure points out the need for it. My entire diet changed from bought to home-made food for survival, and I was shocked at how useful these things can be.
This one has the added advantage of being a one-stop Christmas present shop. You could bake all your presents in a short time, with really health ingredients. Great idea if you have friends who are ill and cannot cook.
