Baby and Buddha shaped pears — cute or creepy?
Thanks to Fruit Mould, a Chinese company, you can now buy apples and pears in surprisingly lifelike shapes. Or if you're really ambitious, you can buy molds to grow your own.
While the figurine shapes might be new, the technique used for creating them has been used for a long time. The most common example is pear brandy, with the pear grown inside the bottle.
