Q: I'm planning on doing all my holiday cookie baking the Sunday before Christmas and I would love to hear your readers' advice on the best ways to store cookies. I've definitely fallen victim to storing cookies incorrectly and winding up with stale, soft or hard-as-a-rock cookies that were perfect when fresh out of the oven.
Are there any differences in how to store oatmeal and chocolate chip drop cookies, slice and bake cookies, roll out/cookie cutter cookies, or thumbprints with jam?
