Long weekend ahoy! We are in the thick of setting up a new kitchen (in a new house) so the long weekend is a welcome stretch of time to get ourselves comfortable again. Any good kitchen moving-in tips?
For the rest of us (who hopefully aren't engaged in major home projects) this weekend is probably a time to kick back, relax, and maybe try one of the recent ice cream recipes. Have fun setting up your kitchen, that is my favorite part of moving:). I will not be having a big group as i am (drum roll...)
pulling up our carpet and installing hardwood thru the whole house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very excited as it is soooo nice and easy to clean. My hubby loves the relaxing weekend I have planned for him : but he is hard and work while I take a break. Have fun everybody else.

Hatch chilies are in now and my husband loves nothing more this time of year than grilling hatch chili sausages, and paring them with hatch chili buns, arugula, and chili jelly. I saw some hatch scones at the store too but he wasn't tempted by those...
