Q: I've been thinking about the ideal Thanksgiving Day breakfast. You know, something to tide you over till the main meal, keeping you safely out of the Hangry Danger Zone, but also something light enough that you feel appropriately eager to dive into a mile-high plate with abandon. Any tried-and-true suggestions?

Editor: Great question, Alexis! Personally, I find a breakfast that includes a mix of healthy fats, protein and some complex carbohydrates keeps me satisfied, but not weighed down. I think an Avocado and Egg Breakfast Pizza made with whole wheat dough would be perfect. (Or even more simple: a piece of avocado toast topped with scrambled eggs.)
