We DVR'ed both Rescue Chef and Jamie Oliver's new series and watched them back to back on Sunday night. We continue to be thrilled by Jamie at Home but we gotta say Danny Boom is a-ok too ... What did you think of the first episode?
We liked Boome's practical, simple short ribs recipe. Using a bit of chocolate to give the short rib sauce some body and shine was smart and we love figs as an unexpected dessert. The show is filed inside real cook's homes, not on a set, and we're always up for checking out someone's kitchen.
We'll tune in to Boome again next weekend. Will you?
