We've been talking color, color, color this month, with the Fall Colors Contest in full swing, and with harvest in glorious color all around us. But we've never really asked you directly: What color is your kitchen? Tell us all about it, and see links to some colorful kitchens below.

TW Salt Mill by Wil...

My kitchen is off-white with a seafoam green accent wall.
A khaki-gray color called "Ethereal Mood". Silly name, but we love the color.
pale yellow-green (kind of cream white) with a backsplash made of very blue tiles (which is what one notices first)
Rental dusty blue and 80s peach. Fairly high-end finishes and in good shape, but remodeled by an old lady some time ago. On the one hand, I've never had so nice a kitchen, but on the other, I want to gouge out my eyes sometimes...
Purple!
Apple green (the color is actually called that!), with orange accessories for an accent color (fiesta ware, kitchenaide mixer, le-crueset, spatulas...).
My kitchen is hot pink!!
It shares space with the living/dining area which is a very pale grey.
Accent wall is Fresh Mint (slightly aqua pale green) with white glossy cabinets & butcher block counters. Rest of walls (thru the whole house, actually) are Halo with Paper Mache trim. Accessories are red, kelly green, bright blue, & orange. Wow. That sounds like a lot of color....
Benjamin Moore's pear green (just painted over our rental white, security deposit be damned). It's ultra-bright and sunny, and we have red appliances/accents that are perfect with it.
we just painted it a light gray a few days ago.
My kitchen is mushroom grey. I love it!
White walls, Yellow cabinet bases with red, green, orange and blue doors and drawers. White appliances. Shocking at first, but we're so used to it we don't even notice!
I just painted mine a pale blue/green called seafoam pearl but I call it iceberg blue.
Our kitchen is a long room, walls and ceiling painted white with a dark tile floor, walnut cabinets, and dark green counter tops. Along one wall is a door to the deck and nearly floor-to-ceiling windows (from the railroad depot) which are black.
Mine is a very rich turquoisy blue called Bahaman Sea Blue.
Buttercream/Biscuit
I consider mine pumpkin orange instead of carrot - just a mellow-er shade of orange and I absolutely LOVE it.
Mine is ancient rotting peeling white on the walls (yes, ew.) and butter yellow on the cabinets. I'd like to take all the peeling paint off... but it's peeling because the plaster is peeling, and I'm renting, so there's NO WAY I'm going to all that work. I will be painting the wall behind my stove, which is in good shape, a pale blue with a darker blue arabesque pattern in the near future.
I think the paint was called almond sugar. We started off by painting it a really pale yellow, but the florescent light picked up the yellow and made it way too intense. Our kitchen is really small so we had to go light...
looove my colors - cabinets are cotton tail (creamy) and walls are suntan yellow (actually a warm creamy yellow with a saffron feel) Benjamin Moore.
Kitchen is light apple green (Benjamin Moore Mellowed Ivory) which opens onto the orange dining room (Soft Pumpkin). Cabinets are white, counters are black, floors are wood. I really love the colors.
Butter yellow with blue/grey/green granite style benchtops, and wooden cabinets though they are going to be painted an off white. And blue and white checked curtains.
Dark, chocolatey brown. My dining room furniture is espresso wood, and the cabinets in my rental's kitchen are blond oak. So I painted the walls to match my dining room furniture.
My kitchen is a beautiful Harvest Moon orange! I love the color so much, we just painted the inside of a closet the same. You can't not smile when you see that blast of brightness.
slate/dark dark gray with ice blue tile, cherry cabinets
I have wallpaper in the kitchen (apartment complex's idea, not mine). At least it's a fairly neutral, unobtrusive color, but I can't wait to move into my next apartment, where they actually let you paint the walls!
Color is called Yellow Brick Road, and ceiling is a a pale white with yellow tones in it.
a very awesome warm gray called "bleached shadow" by benjamin moore. throughout the day, it changes color from purplish-gray to taupe-gray to gray-gray. it's the strangest color i've ever seen :)
Our kitchen is white with bright blue accent walls. Not quite blueberry, but closer to cerulean. White cabinets and black and white checkered floor.
Stone gray walls with white cabinetry, dark stained wood counters, pale aqua ceiling and accessories, loads of white pottery and stainless cooking gear.
Our rental kitchen has white walls and floors with dark blue cabinets.
Rental white walls and white cabinets and white laminate counter tops! My accessories are turquoise and green.
Skipping stones green.
Granny Smith Green - I love it! It's such a bright cheerful color, you just want to spend hours there. The kitchen and dining room are connected, and it's all the same color. Then the hall and living room off it are a lovely light smoke silver. It works very well.
Granny Smith green over here, too! It's lovely! I reupholstered an Ikea kitchen stool, stripped and painted all of my cabinets, added new hardware, undercabinet lighting, green & cream toned rugs, and a giant Beatles poster (with the famous green apple image) to top it off. I also tore off some cabinet doors and opted for open shelving. Loooove my bright green kitchen with all of my beautiful white and yellow dishes standing proud in their new open shelving. :-)
Oh, and I'm a renter. I just decided to spend the $400 (paint, stool, lighting, tools, rugs, etc.), two weekends, and some temporary comfort and go for it, though. No regrets!
Wow, I want to see pictures of some of these colorful kitchens! I have an all white kitchen, and have loved it, but am ready to add some color.
