Recent cooler temperatures in the Midwest have me dreaming of the fall to come, but I'm still trying to get my fill of my favorite summer food: baby dill pickles. Because everything tastes better in miniature.
This summer there have been a few favorites around my house. Besides peach and pistachio ice cream, I can't seem to get enough of baby dill pickles. (I also apparently only eat food that starts with the letter P.) Baby pickles are just such a refreshing snack. They've got that satisfying crunch and a bit of bite, and jar after jar has come and gone from my refrigerator.
What about you? What things have you been taking advantage of this season? All the fruit you can eat? Or maybe a chilled pasta dish?
