Q: I was recently given nine key limes. I am wondering what, besides key lime pie, are some good recipes to use them up. We have young children, so would like to make something they might like too.

Lime Meltaway cookies! I have never made them myself, but I have eaten the fruits of others' labor and they are tasty.
You could candy them, as with candied oranges. Or make a lime cake, adapting a recipe for lemon cake, which shouldn't be too hard to find. If it were me, I might make a scallop ceviche, but that probably wouldn't be terribly popular with the children.
Key lime bars - just sub in the lime in any lemon bar recipe.
Or go more savory and just squeeze them over shrimp.
I made these key lime cupcakes for St Patrick's Day, and they were great.

Lime/strawberry paletas or popsicles
Lime meringue pie! Or go Caribbean and squeeze them over shrimp, fish, or chicken on the grill. Serve with coconut rice and garlicky salad or steamed greens. Can you say hello, summer?
I just made a gelatin-free mousse with the last of my bag of coveted meyer lemons. I think it would work with limes, too! I had a hint of rosemary and black pepper in mine, but you could easily leave those out if you don't think they'd work with limes.
key limes are pretty small so you won't get too much juice out of 9 of them... I vote candying them
