After cleaning out my pantry this weekend I found a package of charcoal noodles that I accidentally bought at the Asian super. I thought I was buying squid ink noodles so I was really surprised when I read the ingredients and saw they were made with charcoal.
Has anyone used these before and if so how did you prepare them?

Audrey, seeing as Halloween is this weekend, it seems like the perfect time to make a dish of black noodles! We would cook them like soba, and toss them with a bit of sesame oil and soy sauce — maybe some dark mushrooms, too.
