Q: My son brought these home last night and I was immediately intrigued. I've never encountered pickled (or "marinated" as the label says) asparagus, but I have to say, it's pretty tasty. It has the kick of a dill pickle combined with the unique musky flavor of asparagus. I'm thinking salads. Have you guys heard of other great uses for these?

Editor: Alan, we've mainly seen these used on appetizer platters and such — but yes, they could be great in salads. Readers — do you like to do anything special with pickled asparagus?

Bloody Marys!
A former coworker used to wrap them in thinly sliced ham and cream cheese for an appetizer. Yum.
garnish for caesars :)
I just like to eat them plain. My mother-in-law likes to serve them on a relish tray with other pickled goodies, like dilly beans, cornichons, and pepperoncinis. Mmm. It makes a nice alternative to the fresh veggie tray at family gatherings.
Rosebud beat me to it... yes, Bloody Mary's!!
I also like to eat them plain, right out of the jar!
I like them in salads. My grandmother gets them extremely cold (nearly frozen) and eats them with bottled mayonnaise. She seems to like it...?
I have to third the Bloody Mary idea. It is sooooo perfect in one. Also, a single large pickled Okra in a Bloody Mary is fabulous.
Roll 'em up in a slice of swiss and a slice of prosciutto. Yum!
oh yeah, a perfect garnish for a caesar (that's our canadian version of a bloody mary, featuring clam juice, for those south of the border). yum-eh!
