Q: My mother in law brought back some chocolate pasta from a recent trip to Italy. I have no idea what to do with it.
Any suggestions?

I see in the link above that the author felt it was OTT to make a sweet dish with it, so maybe something savoury, like beef strips/cubes and a hint of chilli?
I like the combination of coarse salt and chocolate, so maybe keep it plain with butter and sprinkled salt.
One of the best dishes I have ever eaten in Philadelphia is at Le Virtu, a chocolate ravioli with a lemon ricotta filling and a butter/sage sauce. I agree with carinb, love sweet and salt and would mimic the Le Virtu recipe if I didn't fear I would absolutely butcher one of the greatest pastas to grace my palate.
At a visit to Felidia's in NYC I had an excellent chocolate papardelle with a ragu of wild boar!
My favorite way to eat chocolate pasta is to make a cream sauce, toss is with peas and prosciutto. Really simple but crazy good. Had it at a restaurant and craved it for a long time after til I finally just made it myself.
I wonder if a red sauce made of reduced balsamic vinegar and strawberries would work... a little basil and some good ricotta on top would be a nice touch and a fun visual play on your typical spaghetti.
I think something with smoky chiles would pair well with chocolate pasta. Maybe a quick tomato sauce with some chile en adobo? Or some smoky paprika?
I agree with karenenen: I once had a strawberry-balsamic-oreo cookie ice cream that was delicious and can only assume that combo would translate well over to chocolate pasta.
And Kris0218 has a good suggestion with the chiles, maybe with some cinnamon too!
And I think a sweet curry-coconut sauce with cashews would be good.
Maybe a noodle kugel?
Was just going to say kugel :)
I'd jump on the chocolate and bacon trend and add some bacon crumbles and maybe some sweet scallops with a little chili pepper infused olive oil.
I just saw this recipe at Heather Christo Cooks - looks delicious!
I made chocolate pasta once. The only thing I liked with it was to mix the cooked pasta with raspberry jam and whipped cream. Made a decent dessert but in the end I wound up tossing most of it as unusable.
Oo, I used to get cocao ravioli stuffed with butternut squash in a sage brown butter sauce. I'll bet the squash/sage combo would work well with any choco-pasta.
