new favorite lunch: refried beans, greek yogurt, salsa over whatever veggies are left over from the night before. So easy and delicious!
Leftover broccoli and tofu stir fry w/ brown rice. Pretty good, and certainly fits my quick and cheap lunch requirements these days. That bowl in the photo above is my dream lunch though.

I'm eating leftover chicken curry, made with Massaman curry paste. Oh, and it has lots of veggies in it, too. Nom!

I had a bowl of strawberries with yogurt, two sourdough pretzels with hummus and 5 green olives.
Tomato/lentil soup, cut carrots and cucumber, and a gala apple.
The leftover half of a HUGE baked potato with sour cream and cheddar cheese, and watermelon chunks for dessert.
Eating a new crock pot recipe I tried. Tofu, Brown rice, frozen garden veggies, coconut milk, red curry. Yummy stuff!
I had leftover miso soup with soba noodles and some carrot sticks and a handful of walnuts.
Ate chipotle pork soup made and frozen after a dinner party last month. The move is on to deplete the freezer of all quart soup containers to make way for the Jeni's ice cream we've ordered online after seeing the latest episode of "Unique Eats." The plan is to serve it as dessert for our party this weekend. Chicken stock stays - soup goes, ice cream takes its place. Hello Spring! Spring...?
Leftover lasagna with veg juice, carrots and hummus, yogourt and an apple for dessert.
Homemade lentil soup ... it is the default if there are no leftovers. I almost always brown bag it ... $$ and calories, you know.
I made Curried Mussels from Jean Georges... I just really wanted to slurp the briny curry broth and dunk some peasant bread -- so I'll keep the mussel meat to toss in a salad later.
I caved and bought Curried Veggie soup at the school Cafeteria ($2.50 a bowl) because it smelled so good. I have left over tuna casserole for dinner/pre-practice snack.

I made a panini for lunch. Bread from Art-is-in Boulangerie here in Ottawa, goat cheese, avocado, tomato, roasted red pepper, red onion, chipotle mayo, toasted pine nuts and fresh cilantro! It was SO yummy! Had it at home by myself. A dart and dash day but I like when I can eat homemade. Here is my picture for drool effects.

I work long days so I eat at least 2 small meals.
Leftover coconut veggie curry and falafel, with a snack of cheese crackers and cashews.
slice of sourdough and cheddar, ants on a log and a black bean brownie for later.
Today I had calamari and tomato stew over fettucine (leftovers from Sunday night), with a mixed baby green salad and honey mustard vinaigrette, a blood orange, and some Ritz crackers with cream cheese frosting. I don't mess around when it comes to lunch!
my new favorite easy work lunch - i make a big batch of basmati rice for the week, then throw in chickpeas, frozen peas, corn, carrots - whatever, really, and add either some kosher salt and pepper, or a little sesame oil and soy sauce. my office mate is always jealous.
Working at home; just had a big bowl of chipotle lentil soup - homemade but from the freezer - and a Spicy Spinach Pizza flatbread from Trader Joe's.

my office got takeout from a middle eastern restaurant. i had a greek salad (with beets, feta, green olives, oregano, and parsley) and hummus and a little pita. just had my afternoon snack, which was a banana and a brownie. :)
A salad of whatever was in my produce drawer: kale, carrots, green onions, purple cabbage and an apple topped with salt, pepper, balsamic and oil. Not bad, not bad at all. The apples added a really nice sweetness.
Dr. Praeggers Spinach/Potato pancake, handful of almonds, arugala, cherry tomatoes and string cheese. Boring in comparison to most others posted, but easy and filling.

I made a little tuna salad with kalamata olives, lemon juice, parsley, and olive oil. Had it on a bed of baby spinach accompanied by carrot-ginger soup, slices of red bell pepper, and a homemade oatmeal raisin cookie. Yum!
Leftover blackened fish sandwich from the Brickhouse from my date last night.
My husband however got a can of hearty soup and a thick grilled cheese sandwich made from my first loaf of sourdough, made from a Kitchn recipe after trying the sourdough starter from The Kitchn as well! Yum yum tastic.
My take on a PB&J...peanut butter & raisans on toasted bread. Sounds weird but it does the trick, plus it's cheap and easy.

Espresso black bean chili! So good. I was really impressed with the chipolte chili powder, and can't wait to make another batch.

Leftovers! I had made a kale and bean gratin on Saturday night and it tasted even better the second time around.
Home made chicken stock poured over rice noodles, spinach, shredded chicken, green onions, coriander and chilli pepper. Topped off with a squeeze of lime. Eaten at home with my toddler who kept eating my noodles.

The veggie potstickers that are sold for 55 cents each at the cafe in my building at Berkeley. Not good...but edible. And the price is right.

Had to go to the salad bar today - spring mix, beets, chicken, croutons, craisins, walnuts & balsamic vinegar. Not quite enough food so I also had a cheese stick & an apple.
Home with an injured cat today; she ate nothing, while I had chorizo/chickpea/chard soup with a little hunk of baguette from the freezer. And a Murcott tangerine.
It was so cold that I walked to the nearest deli and got the soup, salad and bread deal - Split pea soup (it was awful), Ceasar Salad and sourdough bread.

I made a small Insalata Caprese salad, had a small handful of walnuts, a boiled egg, and a glass of veggie juice. An hour later I ate a bread roll, because I felt like I needed some kind of carb.
