I came across this Virginia kitchen recently in a Sneak Peek on Design*Sponge, and instantly crushed on the long wooden table in the kitchen. Isn't it gorgeous?
The owners of the kitchen bought a big, long table because they needed a piece to serve their "multipurpose kitchen." The table is ideal for entertaining (everyone gathers in the kitchen anyway), but it's also the go-to place for any and all daily needs, like homework, paying bills, and family dinners.
Love this table especially? It's the Reclaimed Russian Oak Plank Table from Restoration Hardware ($2,395 and up). The juxtaposition of the natural wood with the colorful metal chairs is also so fun!
Do you have a long table in your kitchen? Or a big island that serves the same multifunctional purpose?
