Welcome to The Kitchn's Best Posts of 2008

It's the holidays, and we're in the middle of two weeks of relaxed posting here at The Kitchn. We are rounding up your favorite (and our favorite) posts of 2008, looking back at some of the best recipes, kitchen tours, tips and techniques, and other good things from the past year. We have thousands of posts in our archives, just from this year, and we are sorting out the best for your reading pleasure.

We're also curious whether you have any favorite posts from the last year.

Now, we don't usually like to pat ourselves on the back, but we're genuinely curious. Did any of our posts stick out to you this year? One of our favorite things is when we by chance throw something out there that actually helps someone cook. If you have a favorite post or two from this past year and feel like sharing, we'd be so grateful!

We're awfully grateful for all of you, and for everything we learn and love in your comments and emails. Thanks so much for being a part of The Kitchn.

We'll keep bumping this post up to the top as we start rolling out our best posts of 2008. Happy holidays!

(P.S. And do stay tuned for just a few new posts: some breakfast ideas for Christmas morning, a Hanukkah recipe roundup, and some wonderful stories of giving on Christmas Day itself.)
